Carlow is such a seriously underrated county, often confused with Cavan or some place in Co. Kilkenny? Once known as the most gentrified county in Ireland, evident in so many beautiful country houses. It really has so much to offer, great location in the Sunny Southeast, a wealth of cultural heritage, lush fertile land, pretty villages. Rediscovering it over the last few years and introducing it to so many friends (especially the doubting Dubs😉) has been one of my greatest pleasures.
